Founded in 1917, Altrusa is relevant to many civic leaders who want to better their communities by addressing local needs. Altrusans proudly give over a million volunteer hours a year around the world, including clubs in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, England, Bermuda, Ireland, India, New Zealand, and Russia.
