Thank you for joining us at Loews Coronado Bay Resort on March 18! Everyone was wearing their best Denim and Diamonds and had fun dancing to the tunes of Nitro Express.
Congratulations to our Literacy Champion, Dr. Matthew Tessier! Dr. Tessier has broadened the definition of literacy and built centers for students in Chula Vista to develop hands-on career skills that connect classroom education with real world experiences.

Juanramón Castel led our members in hosting our first in-person fundraiser in two years at Novo Brazil Brewing Co. in Otay Ranch. Our guest Samba dancer brought back the conga line! Through this effort, the Foundation raised over $3,700 for our annual community service projects that help local families in need.

Eva Salas and Patti Rahiser led our members in hosting our 16th annual Just Imagine fundraiser. We didn’t just work hard and raise lots of money, but we had fun too! This year, the Euphoria Brass Band kept our event hopping with excitement and inspiring a conga line at the beautiful Paradise Point Resort. Through this effort, the Foundation raised $39,900 for the underserved in our South Bay community and in support of select international projects. Our Masters of Ceremonies, Michael Monaco and Betty Waznis, did an incredible job keeping us on track, leading our live auction, and bringing joy to our event.

15th Annual
Patti Rahiser and Eva Salas led our members in hosting our 15th annual Just Imagine fundraiser. We brought back the Euphoria Brass Band to keep us dancing at the beautiful Paradise Point Resort. We raised over $43,400 that will help us break down barriers to education in our South Bay community and internationally.

Patti Rahiser led our members in hosting our 14th annual Just Imagine fundraiser. The Euphoria Brass Band brought the sounds of New Orleans to our Mardi
Gras-themed event. Through this effort, the Foundation raised $40,900.
This was our last fashion show fundraiser.
Our models and the band ended the event
with a fun-filled second line. Who knew you
can play a trombone with your foot?!
