"Grant a Wish" Book Delivery for Ms. Mora's 6th Grade Class"
Kindness is Coming!
As we count down the days to Kindness Week Worldwide (November 9-16) and World Kindness Day (November 13), there are several ways to get involved! Visit www.TheKindness.Club for updates and to learn about kindness activities being planned by organizations throughout our community.
The Bonita Optimist Club is helping the Altrusa Club of Chula Vista gather toiletries and non-perishable food to stock the JAG Kitchen pantries to support students facing food insecurities at Southwestern College facilities (Chula Vista, National City, and San Ysidro).
Some of the most-needed items include: canned foods with pop-top lids, microwaveable meals (stew, chili, soup & breakfast cereals/oatmeal), cup of soup, tuna and cracker packets, cheese and cracker packets, peanut and almond butter, granola bars, protein bars, trail mix, 100% fruit rolls, peanuts, almonds & cashews, fruit cups, tuna, salmon, sardines and canned meat, canned fruit packed in juice, unsweetened applesauce “squeezable” fruits/veggies, mac and cheese.

Flying High with Drone Camp at Montgomery Middle School
Altrusa International of Chula Vista is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the quality of life in our through service and leadership. Recently, we proudly sponsored a STEM Drones camp for 7th and 8th graders at Montgomery Middle School, providing them with hands-on learning experiences in technology and innovation. Our mission is to empower youth and foster a love for learning, ensuring they have the tools to succeed in the future. With the support of generous sponsors like Baldwin & Sons, we continue to make a positive impact in the lives of young people in Chula Vista.
